I encourage readers to visit the website “Christ: The Real Gift of Christmas“, by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ most assuredly believe in the incarnation of the divine Son of God into this world by the virgin Mary. When Christmas falls on a Sunday, Latter-day Saints will celebrate the Savior’s birth in their congregations. When it falls on other days, members celebrate Christmas with their families, reading scriptures, exchanging gifts, etc. While Latter-day Saints do not believe that Jesus Christ was born on December 25th, they join with much of the rest of the Christian world in setting aside a day to celebrate His birth.
